We thought it would be fun to take you through an ideal “day in the life” at Creekside to give an idea of what you can do here. All the options.

In this case, for an ideal winter day, we’ll take you through a fun day where you commute via the Whistler Creekside Gondola, over the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola and back down the Whistler Village Gondola.

So, sit back, grab a cup of joe and read on. Whether you take all our advice or not is up to you, of course. But consider this:

Morning: Start in Creekside

Morning. You wake up, bright and early, ready for a busy, epic day.

You’ve got excellent coffee in your room so get that brewing, while your waiting grab a shower. Gather everyone together — This is also, of course, a perfect solo adventure, but if you're travelling with friends and family with you in Creekside, it’s time to assemble the crew!

Grab a quick bite to eat at Dusty’s Backside. (Cute name, right? Dusty’s a stuffed horse.) They have great coffee, if you need more and their food is fast and delish.

Get in line. Up the Creekside gondola you go. Snap photos, drink your coffee and eat your bagel while you ride up. When you arrive at the top of the Creekside Gondola, you are in for a treat.

Raven’s Nest has gone through a major overhaul and is now completely vegetarian. So we invite you to enjoy a fresh fruit cup or similar. Make your way to Big Red Express chair and on to Whistler Peak. It’s picture time!

Then, if you need sustenance, grab a quick bite to eat at the Roundhouse Lodge. You’ll be appropriately stunned by the views and sheer brilliance of being at Whistler Peak. If you normally ski, today you are in-the-moment, enjoying the view and tasting the wonderful food. Have a Caesar if you so desire.

Noon: PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola

It’s noon and you are ready for the "peak-to-peak" experience. This eleven-minute ride of your life is the longest unsupported span in the world and also the highest. You see Fitzsimmons Creek below you and a view that you will not soon forget.

Wait for the grey Whistler PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola with the glass bottom. You will not be disappointed. Plus, you are in no hurry today. On the Blackcomb side, take a longer break at the Rendezvous where you’ll have lunch in a classic ski lodge atmosphere.

Enjoy Mediterranean fare along with spectacular views of the coastal mountains. Have a glass of wine or your choice of beverage with lunch if you’d like, and definitely linger a bit.

You’ll want to experience the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola one more time, then head into Whistler Village by downloading via the Whistler Village Gondola.

Note: Now that you are here, on top of the world as it were, stay and take more of the lifts and gondolas as you see fit. Consider this “free time” if you’d like.

Afternoon: Whistler Village

Whistler Village for a bit of apres. You choose the venue, but might we suggest the GLC (Garibaldi Lift Company)? It’s incredible, plus its steps from the Whistler Gondola off-load. They make extraordinary Caesars, and you can sit there for as long as you desire, people watching and enjoying yourself.

When you are finished with apres, it’s time to head back to Creekside. We suggest a taxi, but you could also walk along the Valley Trail if you're in for a trek. It’s a gorgeous walk, and you’re on vacation, so...

Evening: Creekside

It’s time for a nice dinner. There is a variety of Whistler Creekside dining opportunities to choose from. For tonight’s fare, we would like to suggest Creekbread. It’s incredible, organic, not too heavy, and you’ll enjoy being warmed by the wood oven as you eat. If you're looking for a fancier feast, may we suggest making reservations at the Rimrock or Red Door Bistro. Two of Whistler's most acclaimed fine dining establishments, located a short walk from your room.

Night: Creekside

You’ll be probably never eaten this much in your life! We’d like to suggest that, should you feel like it, you grab a bottle of excellent wine at the Whistler Creekside BC Liquor Store and head back to your suite to enjoy the rest of the evening and night.
