Can You Conquer Whistler’s Red Bull 400?
The sun is shining, and the summer heat is finally here in Whistler! The rising temperatures marks the time to get outdoors, if you haven’t been already, and check out all beautiful things Whistler has to offer. Do you love mountain biking? Take a leisurely ride on the Valley Trail or whip down a run in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park – the choice is yours.
While there’s an endless amount of outdoor activities available throughout the summer, there’s nothing quite like the Red Bull 400. On July 14th, 2018, you can test your speed and endurance on a 400-metre race to the top of a 37-degree incline ski jump.
It may sound simple, but participants will have to push themselves to the limit as they make the 400m climb to the top on their hands and knees. The Red Bull 400 takes place at Whistler Olympic Park in the Callaghan Valley. Just 18 km south of Whistler, this venue was home to the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games hosted by Vancouver & Whistler.
Do you think you have what it takes to conquer 400m of pure vertical? You can sign-up for the event by heading over to the official Red Bull 400 Whistler website. There are both solo and relay categories, so grab a friend and start training!
