Run Wild at the Whistler Half Marathon
Are you ready to run one of Canada’s most scenic routes? The Whistler Half Marathon returns this June 1st - 3rd, 2018 with a variety of different running events and activities for everybody.
The Whistler Half Marathon offers participants the choice of 5 race distances: the 21.1 km half marathon, 30 km,10 km, 5 km, and a 1 km kids run. Each course gently travels along a combination of gravel and paved terrain surrounded by Whistler’s world famous natural beauty. Along with the classic running events, the Whistler Half Marathon provides a great festival atmosphere complete with live music, kids activities, seminars, and much more.
Whistler Kids Run

The Whistler Kids Run is a great way to introduce your little one to the world of running in fun environment. Just under 1 km, the run goes through Whistler Village and is open to children of all ages, but is primarily aimed at children aged 5 to 9. The event is non-competitive and parents may run with their kids if that makes the child more comfortable. Kids Run has all the bells and whistles of a big run, with distance markers, a big crowd, finishers awards, post run snacks, and a special race kit designed just for children.
Yoga Jam

Rejuvenate quicker with some post run yoga at Whistler Olympic Plaza! Join in for a stretch and recovery session that is beneficial for anyone. Entry is by donation in support of Crohns and Colitis Canada, and everybody is welcome.
Dog Jog

New this year to the Whistler Marathon is the First Annual Dog Jog! Grab your four legged friend for a run or walk with the whole family along the gravel trails of Lost Lake Park. There’s a 4.5km or 2.5km course option and all dogs will receive a special race kit with some fun stuff included! All dogs participating must be on leash for the entire event.
Recoverun

Join us for free Recovery run (or Recoverun) on Sunday morning. Non-timed and non-competitive, the run is a slow paced exploration of the trails in Lost Lake Park. Learn useful recovery tips from one of Whistler's premier trainers while enjoying the stunning nature around you. After the run you will have an opportunity to practice recovery stretches and use foam rollers and other tools made to help you recover from your race efforts.
