Who's ready to kick off the 2018/19 winter season at Whistler Blackcomb?
It’s time to get your boots strapped on and head into the mountains because the opening day of Whistler Blackcomb is tomorrow – November 22, 2018.
Whistler Blackcomb offers over 200 marked runs, 8,171 acres of terrain, 16 alpine bowls, and three glaciers. These two side-by-side mountains are connected with the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, making skiing both in one day a breeze. Plus, the average annual snowfall is 1,181 centimetres (465 inches).
You can celebrate the return of winter at the official Whistler Blackcomb Winter Kickoff Party from November 30th to December 2nd.

Returning for the third year, The North Face and Whistler Blackcomb are hosting two days of activities, giveaways, and good times at the Winter Kickoff Party. To celebrate the season, Whistler Blackcomb and The North Face have put together some fantastic events over the weekend, including; The North Face Snowboard Movie Premiere, Base Camp Celebration in Skier's Plaza, and a Campout on top of Whistler Mountain.
You can visit The North Face Base Camp at the base of Whistler in the Skier’s Plaza. The event is free and welcome for all to hang out and enjoy The North Face product demos, live DJs, giveaways, games, firepits, doughnuts, coffee, and hot chocolate.
