Best of Whistler 2017 Creekside Highlights
2018 is already looking like a great year to be in Whistler, with more snow in the forecast and plenty of days left to hit the slopes. We hope everyone had a great holiday break with a big farewell to 2017.

As usual, with the end of the year comes Pique’s Best of Whistler edition! This annual tradition is a fun way to honour the people and businesses in Whistler that make it great. With a vast amount of categories, Best of Whistler is about showing love to the community and its members through a little bit of recognition. There’s plenty of things that are great about Whistler which is why the Best of List features well over 60 winners this year, including Best Boot Fitter and Best Thing To Do While Injured (If you guessed Netflix, you’d be right). Favourite Piece of Public Art – Creekside Mural
The 2,400-square-foot mural located under the Creekside underpass, created by Jessa Gilbert, was voted Whistler's favourite piece of public art. The mural depicts the stunning Coast Mountain range that can be seen in the Sea to Sky Corridor in bright pastels and brings the backcountry to the valley.
Best Service – Rimrock Café
Located in Creekside, the Rimrock Café took home Best Service this year. The staff at the Rimrock are seasoned professionals with all of them having tons of experience in the restaurant and hospitality business, priding themselves in their work. Definitely worth checking out while you’re in Whistler.
Best Photos of Whistler 2017
The Pique aren’t the only people who have rounded up a Best Of List from 2017. Whistler Tourism’s Instagram account, throughout the year, has collected the best photos in Whistler from each month, voted by you. These photos offer a look into what was happening in Whistler during 2017. The quality and beauty of these photographs really shows just how amazing Whistler can be.
