Santa in Whistler this Holiday Season - 2017

Whistler Santa Events

Please note that this post is from 2017 and dates are not up-to-date for this season.

The holidays are creeping up fast here in Whistler, and every day the Village feels a little bit more like a winter wonderland. It’s not quite the twelve days til Christmas yet, but Santa will be popping up throughout Whistler this December at some great events. Grab the whole family and come out to anyone of these events where the one and only Santa Claus is going to be showing his jolly face.

Santa’s Sleigh and Boot Drive

Where: Mountain Square

When: December 16 & 22, 2017 | 2 PM - 5 PM

You can catch Santa in Whistler’s Mountain Square, this December 16th or 22nd, sitting on top of a 1974 Vintage Fire Truck! Come out for a free photo and let the big man in red know your Christmas wishes. All donations from the event will go to the BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund.

Whistle Santa Skate

Santa Skate

Where: Whistler Olympic Plaza

When: December 17, 2017 | 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM

Strap on a pair of skates and hit the outdoor ice rink at the Whistler Olympic Plaza with Santa Claus! The whole family can enjoy hot chocolate, holiday crafts, festive treats, and ice skating for an afternoon of holiday fun! No skates? No problem, rentals will be available for only $6.

Storytime with Santa

Where: Whistler Public Library

When: December 22, 2017 | 10 AM - 11 AM

Drop by the Whistler Public Library to hear some classic holiday stories told by jolly ol’ Saint Nicholas himself. This is a great chance to get your kids into the holiday spirit and enjoy a Christmas tradition. Storytime with Santa is free to attend and will be taking food bank donations in partnership with the Rotary Club of Whistler Millennium.

You can find a whole lot more Christmas events happening in Whistler this winter at the Tourism Whistler website. Make sure you don’t miss a moment of the holiday fun here in Whistler!
