Legendary Whistler Blackcomb Turkey Sale and Swap
Join us this weekend October 9th - 12th for the legendary Whistler Blackcomb Turkey Sale and the Ski and Snowboard Swap.
Every Thanksgiving weekend the Blackcomb Daylodge hosts the Turkey Sale, it turns into a mini shopping mall as brand name ski and snowboard gear, clothing, shoes, jackets and tons of other winter gear goes on sale.
The Ski and Snowboard Swap is located just outside the Day Lodge in a huge tent. This Big Tent Sale houses all of the mountains last year rentals marked down and individuals under gear they wish to sell. This gear is pretty well brand new and goes for big discounts. The Tent Sale is also home to a bunch of Whistler retail shops who will be hawking their gear for big savings as well.
If you need some new winter gear this is the time and place to get it for cheap. Brand new skis and boards are the marked down the cheapest you'll find them all year so don't miss out on the savings this weekend.
The event kicks off on Friday, October 10 with the local only sale. As the name indicates you must be a Whistler or Pemberton local to attend the sale (need ID proof) or you must be a 2015/16 season pass or edge card holder. Have no fear the non-locals the sale has plenty of stuff and will be open the public the next day.
In addition to these to 2 sales, most Ski and snowboard shops in Whistler Village take advantage of this weekend as a way to get rid of their last seasons equipment, by having huge sales themselves. After you check out the Turkey Sale and The SWAP, head to Whistler Village and take a walk along the stroll to see what other sales are happening.
